Wellington High School freshman Mateo Muniz has won the individual championship at the Florida High School Athletic Association Class 3A, District 13 boys golf tournament, according to Wellington News’s summary of Town-Crier reporting.
The competition took place October 26 at The Links at Boynton Beach. The result puts a young Palm Beach County golfer in the local postseason spotlight.
FHSAA’s official 2026 calendar lists regional tournaments for November 2–4. Palm Beach Golf Radio will follow regional results and recognize notable performances by local student-athletes.
