Who we are and what this covers
Palm Beach Golf Media LLC operates Palm Beach Golf Radio. This policy covers palmbeachgolfradio.com, palmbeachgolfradio.app, My Palm Beach Golf, and the Palm Beach Golf Radio Alexa skill. Contact us about this policy at info@palmbeachgolfradio.com.
Information we receive
If you email us, we receive your email address and the name, message, and attachments you choose to send. General golf, weather, news and listening features do not require a personal golf account. We do not maintain a separate listening-history database. The website hosting service processes ordinary technical request information needed to deliver pages, such as IP address, browser or device details, requested page, and request time. We do not keep a separate copy of those access logs.
The Alexa skill starts and controls the live stream. Amazon processes your voice interaction under its own privacy practices and sends the skill a request that includes the requested action and a skill-specific user identifier, along with device and language context. We do not request your name, email address, phone number, or address through the skill. The skill has no account linking, requested Alexa permissions, purchases, or separate listening-history storage. Its code logs error messages for troubleshooting; Amazon-hosted execution logs for this skill are currently configured to never expire unless deleted or the retention setting is changed.
My Palm Beach Golf: optional private account
My Palm Beach Golf uses Sites-supported ChatGPT sign-in. The sign-in service manages your credentials, sign-out and account recovery. It supplies a site-specific account identifier and account display information. We use that identifier to keep your saved courses, round dates, tees, scores and optional personal notes private in a Cloudflare D1 database.
The website and app open one central account dashboard on palmbeachgolfradio.com. Personal account records are stored on the server so they can remain available after sign-out and on another device. We do not publish your scores or notes, share them automatically, calculate an official handicap, collect precise location data or enable GPS tracking.
You can edit or delete rounds, delete course notes, or remove saved courses in the dashboard. Removing a saved course removes its course note but does not remove recorded rounds. Deleted records are removed from the active database; hosting-provider backups may be subject to the provider’s retention practices. Contact us to request removal of remaining personal golf data.
Earlier device-only favorites and Best Round records remain in the browser where they were created. They are not automatically uploaded. The optional import shows a review and requires your confirmation before eligible records are added to your account. Incomplete and private-course records are not imported. Sign out when using a shared device.
How we use information
We use emails to respond to questions, submissions, and business inquiries. Technical requests support website and stream delivery, maintenance, and troubleshooting. We have not added website analytics or advertising pixels, and the Alexa skill does not use an advertising identifier. The live stream does not currently contain ads or sponsor spots.
Services and links outside our site
Website hosting and email services process information needed to provide their services. Listen Live opens a Citrus3-hosted player, and the Alexa skill plays that live stream through Amazon's platform. Event, news, Facebook, and Instagram links lead to other services. Those providers may collect technical information under their own policies. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and its users.
Cookies and choices
Our current website code does not set analytics or advertising cookies. The hosting service, external links, and audio player may use technical cookies or similar technologies under their own practices. You can manage cookies in your browser, choose whether to email us or follow outside links, and manage Alexa voice and privacy settings through your Amazon account.
Retention and security
We keep emails we receive in our mailbox until they are deleted in the course of managing correspondence; we do not promise a fixed deletion period. We do not keep separate website access or listener-history logs. Our hosting and email providers may retain technical records under their own practices. The Alexa-hosted execution logs described above currently have no expiration configured. We use ordinary account and provider safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your requests
To ask about an email you sent, request correction or deletion of information we hold, or raise a privacy concern, contact info@palmbeachgolfradio.com. We will review requests in light of the information we control and any applicable legal obligations.
Children
Palm Beach Golf Radio and its Alexa skill are not intended for or directed to children under 13, although children may listen. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through the skill. If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, contact us so we can review it.
Changes
We may update this policy if the website, stream, skill, or our practices change. The current version and its effective date will appear on this page.
